Privileged Series Premiere Recap
I have to say I love this show! Last night, I watched the series premier of Privileged on The CW and I think they have a new hit! The series stars Joanna Garcia (Formerly on Reba) as Megan Smith.
Megan is a single girl living in New York writing for a tabloid paper. In the beginning Megan is having the worst day ever! Not only does her apartment burn down, but she gets fired from her job at the tabloid!
Her boss at the tabloid, feeling sorry for her, tells her about a job she knows of in Palm Beach. She doesn’t know what the job is, but she grew up near Palm Beach so she feels comfortable checking it out.
The job she lands is tutor to 2 billionaire heiresses Rose and Sage. From living in a cheap NYC apartment with a crappy job, Megan moves into the Pal Beach mansion and sets out on a task that is by far easy.
Rose and Sage turn out to be quite the handful when they try to trick Megan into signing permission for them to do a porn photo shoot. They never want to actually study and blow her off when she tries to bond with them.
Things get better when she meets the “hottie” in the neighborhood Will Phillips, but the mayhem starts again when she goes to a fancy ball. There she runs into her sister Lilly who at one time stole her boyfriend and it’s not a pleasant meeting.
In the end though she manages to not get fired and things are kind of OJ with the heiresses. This show has great possibilities and I for one can’t wait to see what happens next!
