Totally TV!

For those of you that saw the MTV Video Music Awards last week, you will remember the worst host ever, Russell Brand. Apparently Russell Brand is a British comedian who not only is not funny, but feels it’s ok to push political views on people from other countries. He was by far the most annoying man I have ever watched on TV before. (Worse than Gilbert Godfrey!) Rumor has it now that Britney Spears is back in the dating world and has had her first date with Russell Brand. Somehow, I doubt this is true, but if it is they should put poor Britney back in the mental hospital!

Britney Spears blows MTV’s video music awards away this year! This is a great comeback for the pop star who has never won any VMAs. She not only won her first, but won three! She looked good. You could definitely tell she has been hitting the gym like the reports have said.

The video for her song Piece of Me won all three of the awards. First up was Best Female Video and it beat out artists like Rhianna, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, and Jordin Sparks. As if winning her first ever VMA wasn’t enough the video pulled in the second award for Best Pop Video against artists like Jonas Brothers and Danity Kane. Britney herself was floored when her video beat out Pussycat Dolls and Chris Brown for the coveted Video of the Year award!

After all of the critisism from the press she finally seems to be pulling it together! Congrats and good luck Britney!
