Totally TV!

I wanted to post the rest of the makovers for ANTM cycle 11 so you can check them out! It’s been crazy around here so sorry about the delay but here they are!

Sheena is one of my favorites. She stands out and she very much resembles Kimora Lee Simmons. Tyra fixed that with some highlights though, because face it there can only be one Kimora!

McKey’s makeover is great, but she’s still fading away into the background for me. I don’t see ANTM potential.

They tried to make Clark less beach bum, more high fashion with darker hair. I just still really don’t care for her when it comes to high fashion.

Britney looks a lot less ghetto and more put together with this longer weave.

Analeigh’s makeover looks great, but it took her some time to get used to.

 Marjorie, goes dark and I think it really brings out her features more.

Out of all the makeovers, Hannah’s was my least favorite. It looks ok in this picture, but when she styles it, she becaomes very plain.

Isis looks much better with the long weave. 

Jocelyn gets a curly weave.

Lauren Brie: stay a blonde but goes a little platnium.

This episode of ANTM was full of surprises! First the girls meet with the fabulous Ms. J and learn how to walk like a model. After some practice they have the runway challenge! They did pretty well with the runway challenge, especially since they were BLINDFOLDED!!! The setting was cool. It took place in and old bank. After the runway show SURPRISE! Hannah is eliminated! Her runway walk sucked, but all eyes were on Samantha when she got to the end of the runway and lifted her dress like she was a stripper. Has she been taking hooch lessons from Sheena?

The photo shoot was brilliant. They photographed the models’ eyes with their nose and mouth immersed in water. I really loved these photos. They were shot by non other than the sexy Nigel Barker and in the end it was Clark’s picture that was showcased for the week. Personally I liked other photos better. Analeigh came through with a great shot this week. My other favorites were Sheena and Lauren Brie.

Down to the bottom 2. Samantha and Isis were left standing. Samantha because of her porn star catwalk show that offended the designer and Isis because she was fading away. Her pictures weren’t strong enough to stay in the competition though, so we had to say goodbye to Isis.

I really liked Samantha’s makeover. She went from a sweet innocent girl to a fierce model. I like it and think she will go far in competition.

I have to say I loved Elina’s makeover. She was very upset and crying when she first saw the red weave being put in her hair, but after she got used to it she liked it. I have to say they were saying on the show that it is the most drastic makeover in ANTM history, but it reminded me of Brit from cycle 9. Brit’s color was brighter, but still red weave. Let’s hope Elina doesn’t have to have it taken out of her hair.

Wanna be on top? So did the 13 remaining contestants on
America’s Next Top Model, but as we all know someone had to be sent packing!

The girls are still getting used to each other so they decide to play a game of truth or dare. While they are playing in the pool
Isis accidentally backs up into Hannah. The fact that Isis is trans gender made Hannah uncomfortable and she pushed her away. (I guess she didn’t realize Isis likes boys duh) When she says that she didn’t mean to be rude, she’s just the “whitest white girl ever”, it sends the whole house talking about her. They accuse her of being racist, which really upsets her.

The girls’ have posing lessons with Benny Ninja and a posing challenge. They have to pose to model accessories for designer, Tarina Tarantino. Sheena seemed to have missed the point of Benny’s lesson when she posed with her leg behind her head and a purse in her crotch. Did someone say hooch? Where’s Mr. J?

After all of the drama in the house and Benny Ninja’s lessons on posing the tension is high when it’s time for the photo shoot. The models are posing suspended from a rope ladder from a hot air balloon. However, the wind was too much and they had to use a crane and digitally put the balloon in later.Lauren Brie, Elina, and Marjorie all had photos that looked very high fashion, but the judges decided Lauren Brie’s photo was the best and it will be featured for the week. It was down to Isis and Nakeysha for the final two. The judges thought
Isis was pretty on film, but in person she was plain. They thought Nakeysha didn’t photo well and in the end she was sent home! Stay tuned for more ANTM!
