90210 Season 1, Episode 3: Lucky Strike Recap
Family night at the local bowling alley for the kids of West Beverly High? When the Wilson family decides to have Friday night family night at the local bowling alley they have much more in store for them than they thought. Things are a lot different in Beverly Hills and this family is far away from Kansas. Debbie (Lori Loughlin) is frustrated when she feels like the kids don’t want to spend time as a family since Annie (Shenae Grimes)and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) invite Ty and Silver to come along.
Naomi is supposed to go out of town with her dad when he pulls up and buys her a brand new SUV. He tells her they aren’t going out of town because he has to work. Really he’s having an affair and Naomi catches them.
It seems Silver is the only one having fun at the bowling alley. Ethan shows up and sees Annie with Ty. You can tell it bothers him but he lets it go for now. When Annie and Ty are about to leave Ethan finds out Naomi is outside freaking out about her father and offers to take her home. Which he does but not before looking back at Annie wo had run after him. Ty gets sick of waiting and leaves Annie at the bowling alley.
Silver has a secret of her own. She’s been staying at a shelter because her mom has been drinking again. When she’s kicked out of the shelter she confides in Dixon and he talks her into speaking with his father. Harry informs Kelly of what is going on at her mom’s house and she confronts her. When Kelly is talking to her mom Silver walks in, they argue and their mom kicks them both out. She doesn’t think Kelly can handle a teenager on top of a 4 year old, but Kelly moves Silver in with her.
Naomi decides to tell her mom about the affair and is shocked when her mom tells her she knows. The woman’s name is Gail and it’s been going on for 2 years. She likes her rich lifestyle and doesn’t want to loose it.
That’s about all for this week, there are still unanswered questions: Who is Sammy’s father???? Brandon? Dylan? The phone calls from the season premiere hint towards Brandon, but would Brandon leave his son for 4 years? We do know from this episode that the father is someone she was involved with in high school and they hooked up again 4 years ago, so I guess we are one step closer to the answer! Stay tuned!
